Design Topic 6: AccessorizeWelcome designers and observers to project designer Cycle 7! It takes a keen eye and great taste to keep the rich and famous (and the not so rich and famous) looking fabulous—which is why gifted designers can become just as paparazzi-worthy as their clientèle. Now that I'm on the prowl for "the" new look, 14 hopefuls will get a shot showing off their fashion chops and "kick- starting" their career.
BRIEF: Each designer can choose ONE (at a time, no mad rush like with the Barbies) to build an outfit around. The outfit must not merely complement or "go with" the accessory, but must INCORPORATE IT as part of a single thought. The outfit and the accessory must look as though they were made to be together. We'll also be judging on the accessory that you choose as well as innovation and overall design, so be careful with what you choose! Leave a comment of the one you want. The first designer who picks the item will get it, so check comments to see if your item has been selected. If so, pick another. I want to see some BOLD design, and interesting colors.

I have always tried to design things that are unapologetically beautiful, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. If I can inspire an appreciation for grace and elegance, that would be the ultimate fulfillment of my life's ambition.

In fact, I was flabbergasted when I saw this line, "It's still one of the more creative designs in this challenge". Something totally out of my expectation. I always thought that it could be worse.
And, about the materials and fabrics used, I am really sorry for not being able to list them out in the description. In truth, I know none about fabrics and other technical skills about fashion design course, which I think is the most unfavorable shortcoming of me if I want to go far in the competition. Anyhow, thank you muchly for letting me know that polyester is a poor substitute for good quality fibers used in most massed produced clothing. I am glad to have learned something new.
I told myself, polyester would never appear in my fabric choice again. I do not want my design to look cheap.^^
Another thing, I would have to admit the fact that the prints looked cheap in my design. My idea was that the prints were supposed to be hand-dyed. Just like what John Galliano did in his Spring 2007 haute couture collection.
I'd like to use Tyler, please? (since July is picked) And, accessory 4-7. I will do designs based on these four and pick the one which I like the most. I hope it is ok.
